The private Heimbrauer brewery was established in 2018. It appeared not by chance, but as a result of the great love of its founders for a delicious and high-quality drink. At that time, the glorious city of Yaroslavl lacked classic varieties of lagers. And in order to cook them ourselves, we decided to learn from professionals in the Czech Republic.
And already in February 2020 in the Czech Republic, at the Zlata pivni pecet beer competition, the Heimbrauer variety "Zhatetskoe" made it to the semifinals and got into the top 10 Euro camps (in one of the heaviest categories).
Heimbrauer beer is made only from natural ingredients: malt, hops, water and yeast, without additives. At the moment, 12 main classic varieties are produced, two of which are brewed in collaboration with the Lokomotiv hockey club. This is a light and light, refreshing lager "Ice Squad", and a dark lager "Armored Train", brewed together with the Czech brewer Petr Petruzalek (Petr Petruzalek).
This year at the Craft Event 2023 festival we received a prize as the best brewery. Especially popular among the guests were our varieties "Bok" and "Porter", as well as wheat "Summer Weiss", and the novelty "Blonde Ale".
In 5 years we have grown out of a small home brewery (Heimbrauer means home brewer in German), and we are ready to start bottling beer in aluminum cans in the near future.
We love good beer, and strive to have more of it!
